TYPES OF INTERFACES FOR INDUSTRIAL MONITORS

Analog and digital video signals may be connected by a variety of physical interfaces, largely depending on the signal type and application. Read to learn about all types of interfaces used for Keetouch touch solutions.

VGA INTERFACE

The oldest existing interface for transmitting a video signal to a monitor, therefore, one of the most commonly used ones.

  • Image resolution is limited
  • The length of the video wire is limited up to 1.5 meters
DVI INTERFACE

An interface for transmitting a digital video signal. No conversion from digital signal to analog one and back is required. Accordingly, there is less loss in signal quality.

  • Signal loss with cable length more than 2 meters

USB INTERFACE

All computers are equipped with USB ports. Thereafter, any touch monitor can be connected to any PC retaining touch input.

RS232 INTERFACE

Keetouch touch screens and industrial monitors can be connected via a COM port.

  • No limitation on wire length
